Insurance

Whether in conjunction with a mortgage or re-mortgage or not, we offer a free review of your needs and will recommend what cover is needed to properly protect you, your family, your property and possessions.

We are independent insurance brokers offering life insurance (also called life assurance) critical illness cover, mortgage protection, accident, sickness and unemployment, and buildings and contents cover for both residential and buy to let properties (for more on that click here for the BTL page)

We will talk through your needs with you, and then recommend the right products to match your circumstances. Once we have done that, we handle the entire application process for you too.

There are a number of popular misconceptions with regards to insurance, and the top three we come across regularly are:

I don’t need insurance because I don’t have a mortgage

Certainly not true. If you have any kind of family that will be left behind if you die, or affected financially if you can’t work, you need insurance. Even a young single person should have enough insurance to cover any debts and pay for a funeral.

Insurance is always very expensive.

Again not true. It is expensive if you buy too much of the wrong thing, yes, but is surprisingly affordable if you’re properly advised. Life insurance starts from as little as £5 per month, so get some quotes and see what the cost is for you.

At ABC we’re very keen that your insurance is sustainable long term, and so we will make sure that we establish a sensible budget for insurance with you and then build a plan to get as much of the right cover within that budget.

Insurance Companies Never Pay Claims

It is only the claims that have been handled poorly that you hear about in the media. The vast majority of genuine claims are paid in full. For example, as an insurance industry average, over 92% of critical illness claims are paid in full.

And don’t forget we also have a sister company to help with insurance claims, Insurance Claims Expert – click here to visit their site for more information.
